亞洲大學榮獲第一屆臺大文學翻譯佳作！---
亞洲大學外文系四年級梅家瑄、詹又潾同學以唐詩英譯作品，榮獲第一屆臺大文學翻譯獎佳作，為校爭光！

亞洲大學（Asia University, Taiwan）外文學系四年級學生梅家瑄英譯杜甫的律詩〈野望〉及蘇軾的絕句〈花影〉，詹又潾同學英譯杜甫的律詩〈野望〉及杜牧的絕句〈遣懷〉，參加第一屆臺大文學翻譯獎大專院校組，分別榮獲佳作獎，為校爭光，將於10月21日下午北上領獎。
杜甫的律詩〈野望〉：西山白雪三城戍，南浦清江萬里橋。海內風塵諸弟隔，天涯涕淚一身遙。惟將遲暮供多病，未有涓埃答聖朝。跨馬出郊時極目，不堪人事日蕭條；
梅家瑄同學的英譯內容：
Looking at the Wild (Du Fu)
West hills were snow-covered and three fort-cities defended;
The clear river at South had a bridge crossed over.
The whole country in wars separated all my brothers apart.
At a far corner, weeping, in tears, I was alone and remote.
Yet being old I could only give myself to illnesses,
With not a drop nor dust to contribute to the sacred court.
Often I rode to the outskirts, looking as far as I could,
But couldn’t stand the state’s affairs bleak day by day.
詹又潾同學杜甫律詩（野望）的英譯內容：
Staring at the Wilderness (Du Fu)
By west hills heaped with snow are three fortified cities;
In south area across a clear river is Ten-thousand-miles Bridge.
Throughout the country is turbulence parting me from all my brothers;
At the end of the world I weep bitterly feeling lonely and remote.
Only the old age can I consecrate to the ill health;
But without a bit to contribute to my holy dynasty.
Often I ride a horse to the countryside taking a far-seeing view;
And can’t bear everything turning desolate day after day.
此外，蘇軾的絕句（花影）：重重疊疊上瑤臺，幾度呼童掃不開。剛被太陽收拾去，卻教明月送將來。 梅家瑄英譯內容：
The Flower Shadows (Su Shi)
The flower shadows layer by layer piled up the elegant terrace.
Several times did I call a child to clean up but couldn’t.
No sooner had the falling sun put them away,
Than the rising bright moon set them back.
至於杜甫律詩〈遣懷〉：落魄江湖載酒行，楚腰纖細掌中輕。十年一覺揚州夢，贏得青樓薄倖名。詹又潾同學的英譯內容：
Heart-Releasing (Du Mu)
Down in my luck at this world, I drifted with the wine;
Light in my palm was many a Chu girl of slender waist.
The past decade was just a nap as if a dream of Yangzhou;
What I won in red-light houses was but a name of heartlessness.
外文系主任古錡玲指出，上學期，外文系7位修習翻譯學程的同學，各選律詩、絕句一首，經教授陳建民指導，今年5月底寄出英譯稿，參加第一屆臺大文學翻譯獎，全國各大院校共160人參賽。評選結果，首獎從缺，貮、參獎各1人、佳作5人，外文系梅家瑄、詹又潾分獲佳作獎，其餘得獎同學都來自國立大學及研究所，難能可貴。
「沒想到我們的英譯作品，在臺大文學翻譯獎比賽中獲獎，相當開心！」梅家瑄、詹又潾同學獲知得獎，十分興奮與感動，紛紛表示感謝外文系開設翻譯學程及陳建民教授指導，將再接再勵繼續英譯文學創作。
